Why peel off nail polish is better for you

Our water-based nail polish formula is better for your body. With no harsh odor or chemicals, you can finally say goodbye to acetone and harsh fumes from nail polish.

Types of nail polish removers:

  1. Acetone Polish Removers: Acetone is a powerful solvent that works best at removing polish. However, it's also very harsh as it removes natural oils from your skin. In fact, excessive use of acetone can cause your skin to appear white, indicating dryness.

  2. Non-Acetone Polish Removers: Non-acetone removers use less aggressive solvents such as ethyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol, and propylene carbonate. Even polish removers labeled as "natural" or "organic" still use solvents, but not acetone. They also often contain moisturizing agents like glycerin, panthenol, and soy to minimize drying effects. However, these formulations may not dissolve the polish coating as efficiently, requiring more effort to remove old polish.
